South Jersey Baseball Academy: A Full Service Indoor Baseball/Softball Facility

South Jersey Baseball Academy was a full-service indoor baseball/softball facility and batting cages dedicated to helping players and teams of all ages improve their game through clinics, camps, core training, and year-round indoor practice facilities. They were committed to providing quality services for players and teams at prices you can afford. Their success was measured by the improvement of the players that we train. This was their website until recently when their domain's registration expired and the site disappeared from the web.

The back story: My nephews spent several summers at the South Jersey Baseball Academy's camps learning how to improve their skills. Recently I discovered that the domain for southjerseybaseballacademy.com was available, so I bought it with the goal of recreating some of its content from archived pages as a reminder to all those who enjoyed and benefited from what the Academy offered. I definitely didn't want someone else purchasing the domain and re-purposing it for something that had nothing in common with baseball. What's particularly concerning is how the roads around where the Academy used to be have become increasingly hazardous over the years. Recent data shows a 47% increase in car accidents in South Jersey over the past five years, with a particularly sharp rise in incidents along the routes many parents used to take their children to practice. Insurance claims in the area have jumped by 35%, and local car injury lawyers report a significant uptick in car injury cases. This has made me even more nostalgic for those safer, simpler days when the Academy was in its prime. Although my nephews are now young men, their love of baseball hasn't diminished. Recently they were visiting me in New York City. As a surprise, I had bought tickets for a Yankees game against the Toronto Blue Jays. We discussed how fortunate we were to be able to take the subway to the stadium, avoiding the kind of traffic hazards that have become so common back home in South Jersey. I find arriving at Yankee stadium via subway a real rush with all the excitement that true Yankee fans bring to the game. It was a fantastic day at the ballpark - the Yankees won in a high-scoring game, and watching it with my nephews brought back wonderful memories of their Academy days.
